You’ve probably noticed that images with yourself in them perform better than images that you’re not in. People love to see what you’re doing and connect with YOU – your audience wants to get to know the person behind it all!

That’s why I was so excited when Tenley reached out about a brand session. She’s one of my favorite photographers ever! I recently took her online breakout class over at Click Photo School. I learned so much – would recommend if you’re looking for a little whimsy or inspiration! We had so much fun hanging around downtown San Jose.

Brand sessions are literally just a time for us to hang out and have fun – I just happen to have a camera as well!

It is so important to get updated, refreshed photos of yourself. I’m not saying you should book a photographer every time you want new photos, but it’s so important to have up-to-date images of yourself to share every once in a while on social media. It only takes a few minutes to snap a few photos with your iPhone!

If I had to recommend a cadence, I’d say book a photographer at least once a year for brand shoots. Of course this will depend on your business, the content you post, and how often you post. You might need less, you might need more.

During my sessions, I spend a few hours with you, and you get to wear multiple outfits and looks. I’ll help plan the looks, locations, and props. I know you’re busy – let’s knock out a year’s worth of content in half a day!
